The game started fairly peacefully, until the ship received a transmission from the Kesrton System, for Cutter Torque( Steven ). The Captain Arnolf Stark( Colin ) demanded Cutters presence on the board and sent a lacky to bring him.
A short while later, Torque appeared on the bridge. Upon which he was told that a there was a transmission for him. The message was played, it was Cutters old war friend Drasbon... Asking for his help, as he managed to get himself in a bit of bother... At that point you hear a door being kicked and yelling.. The transmission dies out, into white noise.
Cutter then requested that the ship be redirected to the Kestron System. One of the lackies on the bridge at the time also stated that the Kestron V was a mining planet and that the planet was well known for it Auction Houses that commonly acquired rare and precious items of different variety.
Stark, took this opportunity to attempt to make some profit and acquire an Infernal Pistol in the vain hope to upstage his cousin Wolgrim Stark.
After a few days travel the Ship finally reached the Kestron System, entering into close orbit with Kestron V. Upon request Cutter asked for Woulsey's( Ben ) assistance in his annoying investigation... At which Woulsey accepted. Stark order the crew to search for an Infernal pistol and see what they can do about transporting minerals to a nearby system. Not expecting much, he went down himself to the planets surface with Dwight( Paul ).
After a short stellar travel, the one of the Venga's small shuttles landed. Dwight and Stark directed themselves to the nearest Noble pub, called the Investigative Lady. While Woulsey & Cutter spent an hour or so attempting to locate the Local Enforcers station.
They finally found it, and after a quick and abrupt talk with the Receptionist, they where led down to the Cells... Encountering Drasbon was not an enjoyable experience, and it seemed the long years had worn their relationship... Drasbon in whisper, couldn't tell them much, though suggested they check out his apartment, primarily under his bed... An officer came down quickly after and bluntly escorted them out, though it wasn't entirely required, as the conversation wasn't exactly flowing.
With the information about has apartment they went directly to it. Or at least as best they could.
Stark & Dwight spent a solid hour drinking... With Dwight requiring to go to the toilet. During his absence, Arnolf started chatting to a fine young woman, who seemed eagerly interested in him... Needless to say after a short talk they left the Noble Pub and Dwight, to go to a more quieter location... Her house.
After about 20 minutes of walking they found Drasbon's Flat and subsequently went into his apartment on the Fourth floor. It wasn't hard to find, it was the only one with Enforcer tape across the entrance and no door. They quickly went into his room, pushed back the bed, and started examining the floor for any potential hidden alcoves.
Walking leisurely to the ladies house, he noticed 5 Local Enforces entering a flat. Though didn't think much of it. As he was being led down a small side street and a bit.
After a short search they located a wobbly floor board. Pulling it back revealed the hidden alcove they expected, nestled inside was a data slate. Taking a quick skim through, it seemed to suggest that Drasbon was investigating something deadly serious and most likely heretical.
As they where about to leave Enforcers blocked them into the Bedroom. Demanding they had over any evidence they may have found into the current case against Drasbon. Luckily Woulsey still carries the Rosette of the Inquisition. Which allowed them to leave without a fight, and still keep the Diary...
After Stark's intense business with the Lady he leaves swiftly. Exiting the house he receives a communication from Woulsey & Cutter about going to kill a midget named Brason Brandish. Though before he could agree to this was interrupted by a Local Enforcer who demanded he take him to see the Governor... After some persuasion he grudging accepts and requested that they wait before meeting this Brason.
A 20 minute drive later Stark arrives at the entrance of the Governors Office, upon which he is asked to wait a minute as an unexpected meeting with another gentleman was taking place. A few minutes later, the unknown gentleman leaves, looking through the door Stark can see that it has quite clearly shook up the Governor, though he quickly regained his composure as Stark appeared.
After a small chat with Governor Manwell, an old friend of the family it would seem. he quickly moved to the actual reason he was requested. It has came to his attention that a variety of Starks associates are investigating the Drasbon case. Manwell bluntly told Stark too keep out of it and encourage his associates to do the same... Though Stark insisted he knew nothing of what he was talking about... Afterwards Stark left and 30 minutes later was dropped at the landing area.
Spent a fair amount of time attempting to find the Governors building though failed miserably, though on the upside they sent a random passer-by mad for a few hours...
Finally hooking back up with with Stark after leaving another Federal building. It took them an hour or so to reach the landing area. They spoke briefly and left in the shuttle to Delta 4. Leaving Dwight Hudson to wander the streets...
Another hour or so passed as they travelled West to the Mine. Landing in a nearby open land, as night started to creep in making it difficult to observe the surrounding area. The entrance to the mine still visible and a small Cabin beside it.
As they moved up to the Cabin a small man came out. Brason Brandish being his name... They questioned him for a short period of time and then forced him to escort them to the bottom of the Mine... Cutter also demanding a map... Though Brason was clearly puzzled and slightly bemused by such an odd request. In private he spoke on a Micro-bead for a short time, before accepting the teams request and escorting them down.
The Mine was a massive Dome like shape that tunnels deep into the earth. A path spiralled all the way down into the thick fog below. Along the wall of the spiralling path was a multitude of openings only a person or so on width, with pipes etc protruding from them. After an hour or so, the team noticed an group of men walking upwards towards them.
They stated that they would escort them down the rest of the way. Five of them led from the front and the other Five took the rear. After a short time Brason slipped away...
I'll finish the rest later.
