isn't that the idiot who attempted to excape from jail by running head first at the bars knocking himself unconscious? The very one.He should fit in admirably.There hasn't been a decent dwarf in the party since the unfortunate Brokk Burkhammer.The ones since have been disappointing.Don't really classify Pyrite as a dwarf anymore.

If it helps Phil, I tend to think of you as a Dwarf even when your not playing Warhammer.
Actually, I tend to visualise Pyrite as you wearing a Beard in Chainmail.

So, to recap on last night’s game;
after roughly 5 longs years of being intermittently harassed, attacked and plagued by her, the party finally cut down the noble, charming, beautiful and possible vampire, Lady Alexa. All items of ill repute have been handed over to the authorities, and Lady Alexa herself has been decapitated and burned to ensure she will never return to trouble the party again, hmmm.
However, though successful in their task, it cost the party much as not all survived the carnage the monster brought with it;
First to fall to her blade was the headstrong and quite unsettling Sir Thanos Morgenhammer of the Knights Panther. Standing little chance of success after already been thrown against the inn wall after having several fireballs launched at him and having only a wizard to support him in combat, the vampire wasted little time and unleashed her full fury upon him with no room for mercy. Even after such butchery was forced upon him, through sheer will alone he lay clutching to life for some time before finally breathing his last breath.
Following quickly second was the albino wizard and Master Vigilant of the Amethyst Order, known only as Hawthorn, who after realising his magical prowess could not penetrate the vampires defences drew his sword, summoned his scythe and charged in only to misplace his blow in front of Alexa allowing her to effortlessly removed his arm from his body and cut his throat with a quick flick of her blade from a provoked attack of opportunity.
After bravely and without delay charging in to aid his companions as he has always done Pyrite Gotrekson found that his armour and good dwarf toughness did little to protect him against the vampire’s strength and vile weapon. He was the third to fall but made sure he left his mark on the abomination before he did so.
Next came the efforts of the last three surviving members of the party, Gerhard Von Gehring, Ludo ‘the halfling’ and Krom Bruttlemere who all at once charged the vampire. Feeling confident in her own skills, she ignored the feeble attempts of Ludo with only the odd kick from her boot in a bid to shoo him away and leave the combat to those of better skill. This did not appear to discourage the plucky halfling who continued to fight on and aid his companions. Feeling little challenge from another dwarf, Alexa turned her full attention on Krom to quickly remove him from the fight so to leave only herself and Gerhard to fight single combat. Though skilled and determined, Krom was unable to repel the barrage of attacks from her and fell dead. Gerhard used this opportunity to his advantage and unleashed everything he had on the vampire; believing even this may not be enough Gerhard managed to get one attack to slip through Alexa’s defences and put his full strength behind the swing, almost cutting her in two with one sweep. The vampire, still standing but for the first time looking nervous appeared to consider disengaging to recover however choose to end this here and now and swung at Gerhard again; this was to became her last mistake as Gerhard, spotting her current weakened state swung in again with everything he had and ran her through.
One vampire lay dead at their feet, as did four of there comrades. Only two remain still standing; Gerhard Von Gehring and Ludo ‘the halfling.’
Did anyone expect anything else?

Also just to note, that 8 dwarfs who have died once joining Gerhards party; 8 They can all rest easy knowing such a paragon of virtue is out there in the Empire fighting the good fight on their behalf.I will mourn them all Krom,Pyrite,Crazyhammer and that other guy.Myself and Fido will put together a new team of heroes to do battle. Failing that the party of slayers idea as a backup.
