So, just so we're clear; it's a who is less of an evil person..?
I reckon that we should put Jacob the Halfling in there as well cause that whole incident was his fault anyway. Although Lyall engineered the situation it was more through poor planning, vanity and callous indifference towards his fellow man- not actual mallus.
Other things though...

Yeah but you didn't kill Arianna and the book says you get a fate point for heroism in destroying a threat to the citizens of the Empire. Arianna yet lives to kill more people. yeah, but she did stop attacking me and not because she was winning, so i should still get it for surviving an encounter which was severly dangerous.

Lyall isn't evil. Self serving, callous and ambitious. Not evil.
I can safely say that both Arianna and Leopold are classicly evil. Lyall never turned to Chaos, shot sown a farm of peasants or became an assassin. If anything, he's morally grey.

Better that than growing old and fat in a bookstore, a shadow of your former 'heroic legend' =P

ah, you should probably ask colin who ended up being the only person willing to adventure with you. Not a safe option.

As far as I'm aware, Colin hasn't made me aware of anything otherwise. Stop talking to me Paul, I'm sick and should really be in bed =P

I was gonna duel Lyall....but Colin never allowed me to....that would have been an EPIC fight. I might have lost, but it would have been worth it.
You should have been killed just for making "The Shadow"

To be honest you should blame my brother for the extra shadow attention as its his character that spun off and assumed that identity

Wait, did someone say something bad about Jacob the Halfling? He was a saint. A hero. An inspiration to us all.
Don't believe me? Just read his books. ;D
